Blackburn College is number one in England for Advanced Apprentice success and dominates the town centre like a city university campus. With amazing facilities and buildings, 3,000 students at The University Centre within the college study more than 120 degrees validated by Lancaster University amongst others.


Blackburn College has the largest University Centre in England and is rated Outstanding by OFSTED. Recognised for employment focused curriculum it has the highest Advanced Apprenticeship Success rates in England.

Blackburn has the fourth youngest population of a town in England and almost a third of the area’s population are under 19.
